U2 have released the music video for “Every Breaking Wave,” the latest single off of the band’s Songs of Innocence album. Belfast filmmaker Aoife McArdle made the clip using footage from her 13-minute short film, Every Breaking Wave, which tells of the violence that swept through Northern Ireland in the 1980s. The video opens with images of moshing and crowdsurfing at a punk show, before a skinhead teen and young woman lock eyes. “Every Breaking Wave” chronicles their romance, as they run through the woods and dive into swimming pools. It also depicts a religious divide. Unfortunately for the star-crossed lovers, things end badly. U2 have announced a string of ambitious new tour dates for the summer. Each location of the tour will feature multiple concerts by the band. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
