Alice Cooper has become the latest member of the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame. Cooper was inducted after garnering over 50 percent of the fan vote, topping The Band in the final round. He also defeated Neil Young and Bob Seger along the way. Cooper’s career has spawned over five decades and included 26 studio LPs, six releases that have been certified platinum or better, sales of over 50 million units, and a pair of Grammy nominations. “For all those reasons and so many more, we’re proud to welcome Alice Cooper into the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame,” Ultimate Classic Rock said of the induction. “He once told us ‘I’m your top prime cut of meat / I’m your choice / I wanna be elected,’ and now he’s gotten his wish. Congratulations, Alice!” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
