Adam Horowitz, better known as Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys, recalls a time when Axl Rose hit him with a wild accusation. “You know, we’re drinkin,’ it’s this huge house up in the hills somewhere – and everybody’s there and I’m gettin’ drunk, and it’s like, next thing I know, I turn, I’m on the dance floor, and George Michael’s just standing next to me,” Horovitz recalls to GQ magazine. “I’m like, ‘This is awesome.’ And then Axl Rose came, like, stepped to me at the party and told me to stop ripping off Led Zeppelin.
