Bob Dylan looks to be releasing a follow-up to his covers album, Shadows in the Night, after recording enough tracks for a second volume, according to producer Daniel Lanois. In an interview, Lanois said that Dylan played him a number of tracks which could make their way onto a second release. “We listened to 21 songs – because he made two records of this,” Lanois began. “For one of America’s great writers to say, ‘I’m not gonna write a song. I’m gonna pay homage to what shook me as young boy,’ I thought was very graceful and dignified,” he added. Lanois produced the Dylan records Time Out of Mind and Oh Mercy.
