Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen is auctioning off his guitars online. The guitarist teamed up with Reverb to put 25 of his most collectible axes on the block. “Rick Nielsen here. I love guitars and guitars love me, but sometimes they need new homes where they can live to rock another day. I’ve teamed up with my pals here at Reverb to get some gems from my private collection into new hands,” he wrote on the site. “From amps and pedals to guitars old and new, if it makes music, I love it and you will too!” The first batch of instruments sold out quickly, but Rick has promised “more for sale in the future.” Currently, he has one guitar, a 1959 Gibson ES-330T-up, with a current bid of $6,800, and just under a week left for fans to bid.
