David Gilmour has announced a short European run in support of his upcoming solo album. The Pink Floyd frontman will perform seven dates over the course of two weeks, kicking off September 12 in Croatia, before playing shows in Italy, France, Germany and England. When it comes to his new album, Gilmour has been playing things close to the vest. What is known about the project is that it will feature former Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera, who recently said the sessions were “going very well. I think it sounds fantastic.
