The Eagles were forced to bring a recent show to a close early when high winds threatened safety at the venue. The show took place at Bendigo, Australia’s Hanging Rock venue and the band vacated the stage after winds of over 100 km/h shook the outdoor stage. The sudden storm swept over the outdoor venue sending much of the crowd running for cover. Don Henley assured the audience that they would return at some point in the night and they in fact did after a 45 minute break. They appropriately came back out to complete their show opening with “One of These Nights.” A fan at the show recounted events to the local Bendigo Advertiser’s Facebook page saying, “The lightning was awesome behind the stage and then it hit. (Eagles front man) Glenn Frey yelled ‘Get out!’ and they cleared the stage. I thought the stage was gonna come down.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
