Paul McCartney has announced his first U.S. arena date of 2015. The show will take place at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia on July 21 and will mark his first stop in the city since 2010. It will not be the first U.S. show for the ex-Beatle, however, as he’ll also hit the Firefly Music Festival on June 19 and Lollapalooza on July 31. Macca is currently hard at work on the road in Australia and Asia and recently hit South America for 32 dates on his Out There tour. He also found time to induct his former bandmate Ringo Starr into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as an individual member earlier this year. “It’s about f*****g time, man!” McCartney said after the ceremony where he and Starr performed together. “That’s what my daughter said a few years back. It’s great. It’s the completion. Now the four of us are in as a band, and as individuals. It would have been a shame if he hadn’t been in, right?” Paul McCartney Tour Dates: June 21st – Philadelphia, PA @ Wells Fargo Center June 23rd – Charlottesville, VA @ John Paul Jones Arena June 25th – Columbia, SC @ Colonial Life Arena Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
