Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced plans for the release of a guest-packed concert project, One More for the Fans, which was recorded last November at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The star-studded affair features Skynyrd joined onstage by a host of musicians, including Cheap Trick (“Gimme Back My Bullets”), Alabama (“Gimme Three Steps”), Trace Adkins (“What’s Your Name”), Charlie Daniels and Donnie Van Zant (“Down South Jukin'”) and Peter Frampton (“Call Me the Breeze”). “Hearing all of these incredible musicians sing our songs was unforgettable,” founding guitarist Gary Rossington says in a press release. “It was a really special night and I’m so happy our fans will now get to enjoy the show at home.” One More for the Fans will be released on July 24 as a two-CD/DVD set.
