Paul McCartney was joined by Foo Fighters fronter Dave Grohl for a rendition of “I Saw Her Standing There,” during a gig at London’s O2 Arena over the weekend. The cut came at the end of Macca’s first encore and featured Grohl playing rhythm guitar and sharing a mic with the Beatles legend. The pair have also previously hooked up on the collab “Cut Me Some Slack.” It’s not the first time the duo has performed the song, playing it previously at the 2009 Grammy Awards with Grohl on drums. The O2 crowd got another treat as Sir Paul performed “Temporary Secretary” for the first time. The cut, from McCartney II, was called by Rolling Stone magazine “one of 12 weirdest songs” by Paul.
