The rock legends set up shop at the 42nd St. subway station in New York City and the scene was taped for the May 8 edition of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The band quickly drew a massive crowd and many fans hit social media sharing photos of the show. Pictures show Bono donning a purple cowboy hat and brown leather jacket with a shearling collar. The band also recently started their tour rehearsals for their upcoming Innocence + Experience trek, which begins May 15 in Vancouver. The Province observed that 15 unmarked tractor trailers are currently parked outside the city’s Pacific Coliseum. “We have a pretty good idea that the people coming in to do the rehearsing might be a little known Irish quartet known as U2,” the paper wrote.
