David Gilmour recorded a cover of The Beatles “Here, There and Everywhere” for this month’s edition of Mojo magazine, which also features Gilmour on the cover. For the most part, the former Pink Floyd frontman stays true to the original version, which originally appeared on the Beatles 1966 album Revolver. Gilmour will release his new solo album Rattle That Lock on September 18. It’s his first solo album since 2006’s On An Island. The album is produced by Gilmour alongside Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera. Guests include occasional Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt and Crosby, Stills And Nash drummer Steve DiStanislao, with the album also including keyboards by Pink Floyd’s Richard Wright, who died in 2008.
