Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum is pleading the fifth when it comes to rumors of the original GNR line up reforming. “I would have to plead the fifth on that, basically, because I just don’t know. So I would say I plead the fifth,” Sorum told Michigan’s WRIF 101.1 FM radio station. Sorum joined the band in 1990, replacing former member Steven Adler. He appeared on the albums Use Your Illusion I (1991), Use Your Illusion II (1991) and The Spaghetti Incident? (1993). Sorum left the band in 1997 after an argument with frontman Axl Rose. Sorum’s predecessor Adler recently raised doubts that the drummer would be open to a reunion, according to Blabbermouth. He said, “Matt wouldn’t do it. I see Matt practically every Monday night, and we talked about it. He wouldn’t do it unless I was a part of it. And I said, ‘Well, dude, I would do it without you.’ And he said, ‘But you’re the original guy. You’re the sound of GNR. I’m not. So it’s different.'” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
