The trailer for Vinyl, a new HBO series from executive producers Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, has been released. The ten-episode series, set in 1970s New York, looks at the underbelly of the music business during the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop. The trailer sees the character Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), who runs a record label, in hype mode. “Think back to the first time you heard a song that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up – made you want to dance or go out and kick somebody’s ass,” he begins. “That’s what I’m talking about.” The cast also features Olivia Wilde, who plays Finestra’s wife, and Devon and Ray Romano as employees of his record company. The series airs in January. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
