“Party Lights,” a previously unheard Bruce Springsteen track, has surfaced online. The track is taken off of Springsteen’s forthcoming box set, The Ties That Bind: The River Collection. The new song contains lyrics that were later used on “Point Blank” and in the additional verse that Springsteen added to “Jersey Girl” by Tom Waits, according to Rolling Stone. The Ties That Bind: The River Collection will be released on December 4. The box set contains 52 tracks on four CDs with a wealth of unreleased material along with four hours of never-before-seen video on three DVDs or two Blu-Ray discs. The first two discs feature the remastered version of The River while the third disc contains the previously unreleased The River: Single Album.
