Bono of U2 will auction off a bike ride as part of his fundraising efforts for RED, a foundation established for fighting AIDS. The bike ride prize is a nod to Bono’s recent bike crash which sent him to the hospital. “I’m not sure that was as funny to my band as it was to me,” Bono said of the ride. “But I think we’re going to have fun, and yeah, we’ll go visit the scene of the crime.” The bike ride sweepstakes can be won by donating at least $10 through the Omaze website. The winner and his/her guest will go on a ride with Bono through Central Park, stop for ice cream and a visit with the superstar, and receive a 4 star hotel stay in NYC. Other auctions to enter include a chance to sit on the set of Game of Thrones, a Merry Jane Wellness Retreat with Snoop Dogg, and the chance to have a private cooking lesson from Mario Batali.
