Bruce Springsteen brought an 89-year-old woman, only known as Evelyn, on stage during a tour stop in Toronto on Tuesday night. In video footage, the Boss hugs Evelyn after helping her up on stage during “Dancing in the Dark.” The pair cut a rug together, before Evelyn gets a round of applause from the audience and E Street Band saxophonist Jake Clemons plays her off stage. The Toronto gig came during Springsteen’s The River Tour, which sees him in support of the re-issue The Ties That Bind: The River Collection. The collection features the original album – The River – plus unreleased music, unseen concert footage and a new documentary. The River Tour picks up on Thursday night at Boston’s TD Garden.
