After a few weeks of rest, Joe Perry is set to rejoin the Hollywood Vampires after collapsing backstage on July 10. The band broke the news of Perry’s return on their official Facebook page. Blabbermouth reports that sources close to Perry and the band told Premiere Networks that a combination of dehydration and exhaustion caused Perry to collapse backstage in Brooklyn, New York on July 10, resulting in a trip to the hospital. After being taken to nearby Coney Island Hospital, Perry was transferred to Columbia Presbyterian in Manhattan. He has since been released and flew to California, where he has been resting for the last several days. Perry will rejoin the band in time for their gig in Rohnert Park, California on July 22.
