Alice Cooper remembers late Ramones manager Danny Fields in a new teaser video for the upcoming new documentary Danny Says. In addition to managing the Ramones, Fields also managed Iggy and the Stooges. “Danny was in the middle of all of it, almost orchestrating,” he said. “Those are the guys that are always in the wings, but they’re always the most effective people.” Cooper also recalls a time when Fields was working at 16 magazine and put together a spread that placed the horror rocker alongside Donny Osmond. “We couldn’t have been further apart,” Cooper laughs. “But somehow I think Danny liked that juxtaposition of the two, of the opposites.” Danny Says will be released on September 30.
