Rod Stewart raised a few eyebrows earlier this week after his appearance at the recent drawing to choose matchups for the Scottish Football Cup. The rock legend appeared at the event to help present the randomly selected matchups, but left some fans wondering if he had been drinking before the appearance. The exuberant Stewart joked throughout the appearance and a local news source even reported that at one point he snubbed a handshake from Scottish Football Association president Alan McRae. Fans quickly hit Twitter questioning his sobriety writing comments like: “A p***ed up Sir Rod Stewart doing the Scottish Cup draw is my highlight of 2017 so far” and “What a spot from @Ants_K – did Rod Stewart have a wee pinch at the SFA man in the middle’s bum?” Some fans were less enthused, however, and made comments like: “Rod Stewart completely disrespecting Scottish football today,” and “Rod Stewart and that Scottish Cup draw is embarrassing.
