Aerosmith's Joe Perry Uncertain About Group's Future »
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry spoke out on the status of the band this week, and after 40 years together, their future is far from certain. "I think everybody's a little worn out," Perry recently told Cincinnati.com. "The tour is winding up, and we don't know when will work again as band. That part of it is up in the air, and it's starting to hit home." Though the exact status of the group isn't set in stone, Perry described it as "pretty normal."

Heart Releases Red Velvet Car This Week »
This week marks the release of Heart's thirteenth studio album, Red Velvet Car. The album hits stores on August 31 and is the band's first new release since 2004's Jupiter's Darling. Along with the album, sisters Nancy and Ann Wilson will release a live DVD of their March 5 performance in their hometown of Seattle, Washington. According to Nancy, the new album represents a side of Heart that has always existed, just not on an album.

John Lennon's Toilet Fetches Top Dollar At Auction »
A toilet once owned by John Lennon has sold for nearly $15,000 at a recent auction of Beatles memorabilia in the U.K. Lennon reportedly gave the bathroom fixture to a contractor named John Hancock after moving out of his home in Berkshire in 1971. According to Hancock, the commode has been sitting in a shed since he received it from the legendary songwriter, who reportedly told him to "put flowers in it or something."

Jackson Browne Cancels Show In Buffalo Due To Illness »
Jackson Browne has been forced to cancel a scheduled concert at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York that was set to take place this evening. Browne canceled the show under his doctor's orders due to illness. Tour organizers are looking into a possible date for rescheduling the appearance, with refunds for tickets being offered at the point of purchase. The tour is in promotion of Love Is Strange, a 2-CD live set that features Browne and David Lindley.

Plug Pulled On Guns N' Roses At Reading Fest »
After the plug was pulled on Guns N' Roses during a Friday night set at Britain's Reading festival, lead singer Axl Rose is now demanding that the promoter apologize to the rockers. "In regard to Reading we feel at the very least the fans deserve an apology from those responsible for the nonsense," Rose tweeted. "We'd also like to thank the fans for being so great, singing along n' not tearing the place apart!!"
