Lou Gramm was forced to cancel his appearance at the Lake Festival of Nations in Sherbrooke on Saturday, July 19.
Organizers found out about the cancellation in an email the Thursday before the scheduled event. "A doctor's note confirms his inability to travel by air and perform on stage in this state," spokesman Jean-Pierre Beaudoin said during a news conference.
Gramm is set to perform his next show at the Hard Rock in Orlando, Florida on July 31.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Gramm and his former Foreigner bandmate Mick Jones will be reuniting. Both musicians will be helping each other out on their upcoming solo albums. The last album Gramm was featured on was the band's 1994 album and he left the band in 2003.
