Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Concert To Feature Gregg Allman And Peter Frampton

Gregg Allman and Peter Frampton are among the classic rock stars set to feature at an upcoming Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute concert. The event, titled One More for the Fans, goes down at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Nov. 12.

Other guests slated to perform are Trace Adkins, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Cheap Trick, Warren Haynes, Gov't Mule, John Hiatt, Jamey Johnson, and .38 Special singer Donnie Van Zant, whose brother Ronnie co-founded Skynyrd.

The show will be filmed and recorded for "multi-platform distribution," according to producer Don Was, who is handling the musical direction for the concert.

Skynyrd recorded its 1976 live album, One More From the Road, there as part of a campaign to save the Fox Theatre.

Ticks go on sale Aug. 18 via the Fox box office.
