Heart treated fans to their cover of the Paul McCartney and Wings classic “Band on the Run” during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week. The appearance came as part of Ann and Nancy Wilson’s promotional run for the album The Art of McCartney, which is a tribute to the Beatles legend. During the appearance the band also gave a performance of their classic track “Crazy on You.” McCartney is not, however, the only rock legend at the top of Ann’s list of favorites. She also made headlines last year saying that she’d gladly fill the fronting role in Led Zeppelin if they decided to reunite for a tour. “I don’t know. Hypothetically, if they ever needed a lead singer and Heart was not active at the moment, then, sure, I would,” Wilson offered. “I would go and play with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones any day of the week.” Robert Plant has previously said that he is not interested in a Zeppelin reunion.
