Joe Perry has revealed that Aerosmith is, in fact, heading out on the road this summer. The rock legend had previously said that the band “may” play some tour dates but has now dropped a more definitive hint. He made the suggestion during a recent interview with Guitar International. “I know we are going back on the road this summer, so I’m not sure when we will have the time or be able to make time to get back into the studio. I know we plan on it, I just don’t know when.” He also said that they may consider returning to vinyl for their next album release. “We’ve certainly talked about the different options,” he said. “From talking with the fans at the book signings, they were handing me vinyl instead of CDs to sign.
