AC/DC has officially signed on to perform at the Grammys. The Aussie rock legends had previously been amongst a group of performers rumored to play the event. Other hinted at performances have included U2, Madonna, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Eric Church. The event is scheduled to take place on February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and AC/DC’s appearance will come in support of their newest release Rock or Bust. The performance will come at a tumultuous time for the band, whose drummer Phil Rudd is currently several criminal charges in Australia. Rudd recently spoke on his plans to rejoin the group stating, “I want my job back, I want my reputation back and I’m gonna get it back.” He will appear in court two days after the band’s appearance at the Grammys.
