Dallas Taylor, who played drums for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Stephen Stills, has died at the age of 66. The musician’s wife, Patti Mcgovern-Taylor, announced the unfortunate news on Facebook on Sunday, January 18. Taylor’s musical career began in the band Clear Light before he met Stills and was invited to join Crosby, Stills and Nash and play drums on their debut album. Then a year later they added Neil Young. He also played on Stills’ 1970 self-titled solo album and joined Stills in the group Manassas for their 1972 and 1973 albums. He also played with Van Morrison and Paul Butterfield. Later on in life he became an addiction counselor and was dedicated to “providing alcohol and drug interventions and recovery help to individuals and their loved ones throughout the United States and abroad.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
