Paul McCartney has reportedly signed on to participate in the upcoming 40th anniversary special for Saturday Night Live. The event is set to air at 8 p.m. on February 15 and will bring together a mix of current and former cast members as well as many other celebrity guests. Some of the other confirmed guests include Jack Nicholson, Jim Carrey, Peyton Manning, Chris Rock, Garrett Morris, Andy Samberg, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short, Betty White, Emma Stone, Derek Jeter, Jimmy Fallon, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Melissa McCarthy, Will Ferrell, Robert De Niro, Jerry Seinfeld, Molly Shannon and Mike Meyers. Eddie Murphy has also confirmed plans to return, marking his first appearance on the show in over 30 years. “It’s just timing,” he told News One. “It just never worked out where the timing was right for me to do it . . .
