Paul McCartney joined Rihanna and Kanye West for their stripped-back performance of “FourFiveSeconds” at the 2015 Grammy Awards. The former Beatle provided acoustic backing, strumming the song’s riff on guitar, as Rihanna and Kanye sang their verses. Most of the performance took place in front of a white-light backdrop and midway through it lifted to reveal dark curtains. The track, which is slated to appear on Rihanna’s upcoming eighth record, was released last week. Kanye recently announced that he will be producing the album. McCartney was not nominated at this year’s Grammy Awards, however, Paul Epworth, who worked on McCartney’s most recent album, New, was up for producer of the year (non-classical) award. That prize ended up going to Taylor Swift producer Max Martin. George Harrison, McCartney’s Beatle mate, was also recognized during the broadcast. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
