The Rolling Stones will be touring stateside this year, according to guitarist Ron Wood. Wood let the news slip during a recent interview, stating that the band will soon be getting together and plan to spend their summer touring the United States. Speaking with GMI Rock News, Wood said, “Oh yeah, we had a meeting in New York with the boys, and we’re gonna come to North America again in the summer.” The Stones last toured the states two years ago during their 50 & Counting Tour. Most recently, the band played shows in New Zealand and Australia as part of their golden-anniversary celebration.
