Les was someone that I loved and admired very much and the first electric guitar that I got was a Memphis Les Paul copy and my grandmother was cool enough to tell me that Les Paul was not just a guitar it was a guy. This is just way too cool, so thank you very much.” The Les Paul Award named for the revolutionary inventor and esteemed musician, honors individuals or institutions that have set the highest standards of excellence in the creative application of audio and music technology.
