Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, and Johnny Depp are teaming up to form a supergroup for a gig at this summer’s Rock In Rio concert. The group, called The Hollywood Vampires, will play at the festival in Rio de Janeiro, which runs from September 19-27 and which will also feature performances by Queens of the Stone Age, Faith No More and Slipknot. The band is rumored to be working on an album together; no further shows have been announced. Depp has performed with Cooper several times in the last couple of years. Said Cooper of his friend, “We see each other a lot. He’s become a close friend and collaborator. We’ve done a lot of recording together recently. He is really a very talented and cool guy. Johnny is a guy who doesn’t have to do anything; he does things because he wants to do them. It’s not about his ego.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
