Ace Frehley, Marky Ramone and Mark Farner of the Grand Funk Railroad have all signed on as guests for the upcoming season of VH1’s That Metal Show. In a new preview the show has promised that they will provide “the most diverse season in the show’s history.” Frehley, Ramone and Farner join an impressive list of guests already confirmed for the new season, which will kick off in its new 9 p.m. Saturday slot on February 21. Other confirmed guests include John Petrucci of Dream Theater; members of Tesla, Thin Lizzy, Anthrax and Slayer; Zakk Wylde, Michael Schenker, Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss and Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali. That Metal Show has run on VH1 Classic since 2008 and fans can score tickets to the tapings through the show’s website. It tapes live on Tuesday nights at New York City’s Metropolis Studios.
