Paul McCartney took home the top award at the 26th annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards over the weekend, earning the Major Tour of the Year Prize for the 2014 edition of his Out There World Tour. It’s the third time Macca has won the honor, previously doing so in 2002 and 1990. Other winners included Katy Perry for Most Creative Stage Production and Sam Smith for Best New Touring Artist. Festival awards went to Austin City Limits (Major Music Festival), Telluride Bluegrass Festival (Music Festival) and Glastonbury (International Music Festival).
