Elton John and other celebrities are taking a stand against Italian fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana following comments from founder Stefano Gabbana about in vitro fertilization. Speaking with Panorama magazine, Gabbana referred to children born via IVF as “synthetic” and said they were from a “rented uterus.” John hit back at Gabbana immediately, vowing to swear off the high fashion brand. “How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic’. And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF – a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfill their dream of having children,” he said Sunday on Instagram. “Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again.” Both Ricky Martin and Al Roker stepped up to back Elton’s #BoycottDolceGabana hashtag. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
