Stevie Nicks will be honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2015 USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore 33rd Annual Awards Dinner on March 24. The event celebrates soldiers awarded the Medal of Honor, as well as civilians who’ve demonstrated loyalty to the troops. Stevie wrote the song “Soldier’s Angel” after visiting recovering vets at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda National Naval Medical Center. Nicks has also shown her support by donating hundreds of music filled iPods to recovering vets. At the event, she will also be a presenter, giving the USO-Metro’s Col. John Gioia Patriot Award to poet and essayist Seema Reza. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
