Kenney Jones, drummer for the Faces, says getting the band back together now is more urgent than ever. Speaking with the Austin Chronicle, Kenney said, following the death of keyboardist Ian McLagan, he, Rod Stewart and Ron Wood have to move. “Rod, Woody and me are still going to do the Faces this year. It’s more important now than ever,” he told the mag. McLagan was the third member of the band – following Ronnie Lane and Steve Marriott — to pass. It’s a fact that weighs on Jones. “I’m so proud and so honored that life introduced me to Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane and Ian McLagan. They’ve been a major part of my life – over half of it – and I miss all three of them. It’s lonely, being here on my own.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
