Also at the induction ceremony, Patti Smith will handle the induction duties for the late Lou Reed, who is already a part of the HOF with the Velvet Underground. Stevie Wonder will induct R&B singer and songwriter Bill Withers, J. Geils Band singer Peter Wolf will introduce the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Fall Out Boy will pay tribute to Green Day, John Mayer will induct Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Steve Cropper, of Booker T. & the MG’s, will induct 1950s doo-wop group the 5 Royales.
