AC/DC announced that, with drummer Phil Rudd facing assault charges in New Zealand, the band will soldier on with Chris Slade behind the kit-in particular for their appearance at 2015 Coachella. Slade was on the throne during the band’s triumphant performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards. Rudd, for his part, previously promised he’d be back playing drums with the group. “I’m going back to work with AC/DC, and I don’t care who likes it and who doesn’t,” he told New Zealand’s One News.
