Metallica’s James Hetfield and Sammy Hagar have announce that they will once again team up for their annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure concert. This year’s event will take place on May 15 in San Francisco and proceeds will go to the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. The pair announced news of the show in a press release reading, “Each legendary artist will be performing acoustic sets – with once-in-a-lifetime musical moments, duets, jams and surprise guests planned.” A handful of other big name guests are also slated to appear at the show including Joe Satriani, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, Train’s Pat Monahan, singer-songwriter Linda Perry and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
