Black Sabbath has called off their farewell show. The band was due to play a headlining slot at Ozzfest Japan on November 22. A post from the band on their official Facebook page confirmed the news to fans. “Despite previous reports, Black Sabbath will not appear on this year’s Ozzfest Japan. The show will instead feature the festival’s namesake, Ozzy Osbourne (and friends).” Osbourne had previously noted that the Ozzfest appearance would be Black Sabbath’s last ever as a band. He also canceled plans for a Mexican “Ozzfest” equivalent he had dubbed “Ozzfiesta.” The band had reunited in 2012 for a world tour that was postponed due to guitarist Tony Iommi’s cancer diagnosis and treatment. They are currently in the studio working on a new album, which will feature production from Rick Rubin. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
