Roger Waters will re-release Amused to Death, his 1992 guest-packed solo effort, on July 24 in several different formats, including CD, CD/Blu-ray, SACD, hi-res digital download, two-LP 200-gram vinyl and limited-edition numbered two-LP picture disc vinyl. “I’m remembering the record from [more than] 20 years ago, that most of what I had to say then sadly still pertains today, and is maybe even more relevant to our predicament as people in 2015 even than it was in 1992,” Waters says in a press release announcing the reissue. The LP, produced by Waters and Patrick Leonard, included guest appearances by Jeff Beck, Don Henley, Toto’s Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro, Randy Jackson and Rita Coolidge. Waters noted that the album “didn’t get the attention it deserved when it came out 23 years ago,” in a video message to his fans. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
