John Lodge of the Moody Blues has released “In My Mind,” a single from 10,000 Light Years Ago, his first solo material in 38 years. Speaking with Ultimate Classic Rock, Lodge says the lead single is representative of the album. “I wanted the song to say that this whole album is in my mind. That was what it was about, really,” Lodge began. “This whole album was in my mind and it’s got to come out of there. It’s about what you can see in the world if you keep your eyes open for everything. It’s in your mind, but if you look outside of your mind, you can see everything else as well.
