After crashing his bike a few months ago, U2 frontman Bono is still healing, saying that he’s unable to play guitar, following the accident that left him with a fractured left hand, broken left arm, fractured shoulder blade and fractured left eye socket. He told the New York Times that “this is the hard bit, because I can’t play guitar,” joking that the rest of the band “doesn’t seem to mind.” He added that one part of his left hand, “is like rigor mortis . . . but they say that nerves heal about a millimeter a week, so in about 13 months I should know if it’s coming back.” U2 played a surprise set in NYC’s Grand Central Terminal on Monday, and on Friday made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
