The Rolling Stones are among the acts to have songs featured on Guitar Hero Live, the latest installment in the Guitar Hero franchise. Gamers will be able to play along to the band’s cut “Paint It Black” in the game. The track list also includes the Black Keys (“Gold on the Ceiling”), Gary Clark Jr. (“You Don’t Owe a Thang”), the War on Drugs (“Under the Pressure”), Judas Priest (“Breaking the Law”) and Alter Bridge (“Cry of Achilles”). “It’s been 10 years since the first Guitar Hero game came out. When you think of it like that, and think about how much the musical landscape has changed since then – that’s where we’ve been able to explore some new types of musical style as well,” said a rep for the game maker. “Guitar music is broader than it’s ever been – so we’re reflecting that in the range of music on offer.” Guitar Hero Live will be available on Xbox One and 360, Playstation 3 and 4, Nintendo Wii U, and mobile platforms later this year.
