Richie Furay has expressed frustration over a proposed Buffalo Springfield tour which was cut short in 2011 thanks to Neil Young, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. “I think everybody was having fun. What was 30 days out of your life . . . when you’re a musician and that’s what you’re gonna do? But Neil, his idea was, you know, ‘I don’t want to go back and play those old songs,'” Furay said. “So what did he do? He went out and he played all the old songs with Crazy Horse again. But that’s his thing. I respect him for who he is as a musician, what he’s done with his life as a musician, and you’re either gonna flow with it or not.” Despite the way things went down back then, Furay readily admits that he wouldn’t completely rule out another go at a true Buffalo Springfield reunion in the future.
