Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has released his first country music single, “Love Is Your Name,” which will appear on his forthcoming debut solo album. Tyler started out his foray into country music by moving to Nashville earlier this year, where he has been working with songwriters on his first solo album, a country record produced by Dann Huff among others. “I picked up and headed for Tennessee, and the first day in the studio, I recorded a song that became my first single,” Tyler says in a press release announcing the track. “And if ‘Love Is Your Name,’ then Nashville’s my new girlfriend. I guess you could call that beginner’s luck.” There’s no release date or title for the LP, though the album is expected to arrive sometime in 2015. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
