The trial date has been set for Journey’s Deen Castronovo for October 22 at Oregon’s Marion County Courthouse. The drummer was arrested for the second time in 15 days on charges of rape, sexual abuse and assault on June 29. Along with the pattern of physical and sexual violence, there was also drug use and suicide threats added to the mix over the course of a week. Marion County Circuit Judge Channing Bennett said that Castronovo will remain in jail since he is believed to still be a threat to the woman involved in the case, according to the Statesman Journal. Prosecutor Jennifer Gardiner says Castronovo threw the woman into a wall 14 times, yanked her hair and forced her to have sex with him. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
