A poster has popped up in London to promote the new Rolling Stones art exhibit and has been creating a bit of controversy. The exhibit titled “Exhibitionism” was announced last week and will open on April 6, 2016 at the Saatchi Gallery in London. There will be 500 artifacts featured in the exhibit. The poster, designed by Mark Horton, features a female model’s midsection and bikini bottoms with the Rolling Stones signature tongue logo and has been plastered on city buses and throughout the subway system. According to Transport for London and Clear Channel, who monitor subway and bus advertising respectively, the poster has been deemed too lewd. “We are dumbfounded and perplexed at this rather silly decision,” a Rolling Stones spokesman said. “Perhaps something to do with the fact that it’s the Rolling Stones and controversy still seems to follow them everywhere.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
