Paul McCartney has spoken out against the practice of fox hunting in the U.K. and is calling on the British government to ban the practice. During an interview with the Guardian the rock icon called the practice “cruel and unnecessary.” A new amendment is on the table in the British parliament that would make the previously banned fox hunting once again legal through the U.K. Macca stated his belief that the current Tory led government will lose critical support of the bill passes. “The people of Britain are behind this Tory government on many things, but the vast majority of us will be against them if hunting is reintroduced,” he told the Guardian. Paul is not the only classic rock icon opposing the bill, however, as Queen rocker Brian May has also vocally opposed the measure. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
